Travel and it's attendant security problems are facing us all. We face longer lines, and longer waits at airports. We face tightened security and an ever growing fear that is crippling many small and large firms in their capabilities to reach their customers and company personnel.

Today's ever increasing Internet use also carries with it an ever increasing presense of virus attacks, spam attacks within e-mail and web content, inappropriate web content and objectionable re and misdirection of your web based searches and contacts. All of these things affect your companies bottom line. And that affects every one and every project within your company. The needed aggressive and expensive fixes to the problems either are beyond the average companies budget, or are requiring a vast personnel, MIS and equipment expansion that is at best, unplanned for, and at worst, not needed.

Auto responder accounts

An auto responder account is one that allow your company to distribute information to interested prospects, customers or internal groups in the company or industry. An auto responder is simply a program, running on our servers that will instantly send a pre written message (content determined by you) back to a person who sends an e-mail to a specific address. This address is provided per your choice.

An example of it's use would be a web based advertisement for your company service or product. This ad will give an e-mail address to send to, for additional information, or for catalog receipt, etc.. The prospective customer or whomever is e-mailing to the address is instantly sent back a message either telling them you are responding with their request, or a preset message giving additional information. You can have as many of the responders as is necessary to accomplish your company needs.

Conference Boards

This capability is especially important with today's safety concerns and the present dangers from travel and even regular mail receipt. The current crisis that are hurting our country is also hurting many businesses because of extra costs and precautions involved with the ordinary every day communications required of most business entities. Travel can be eliminated many times by use of our services, as can the postal services for transmission of documents that could suffer contamination or damage due to the stringent handling procedures now being utilized. This conference board can be set up for use at any time, on a full time, easy access basis. They are there for your use at any time. They require no advance preparation, and no special equipment. Standard Internet access is all that is required.

If voice conferencing is required, there will be a need for a sound card within the computer system, but that is almost always standard today. For those system without it, it can be added to virtually any computer at a very lost cost. We can set up accounts that allow both text and voice communications at the same time. This means that anyone with a desktop computer, terminal or even a mobile laptop, can participate from wherever they are at the time you desire to hold a discussion. It is a safe and convenient way to conference in today's society, where computer access and availability is already a must in almost all businesses. These conference boards can be set up so that real time discussion via text (typing) transmissions can take place between users without voice capability, or when this is not desired.

The boards also allow voice communications between users so equipped, even along with the text only discussions. These capabilities will be expanded later to a full graphic capability of video transmission as well, so that the conferencees can also see each other, documentation or models and prototypes to enhance it's use.

Newsletter accounts

Newsletters are extremely useful to keep personnel and customers apprised of changes, improvements or even new products. Unfortunately they require a great deal of time and the mailing costs are quite high. This is in addition to the formatting, printing, collating etc. that must be done to distribute them. With our on line newsletter account, you can do all of the editing, formatting, and even graphic inclusion on your computer, and simply send it out to the account site where it can be viewed by all that have authorized access, decided and controlled by you.

You will have complete editing and uploading capability to change, delete or add to the newsletter at your convenience, rather than at some prearranged time as some such services provide. We can also, for a reasonable fee, provide you with editing and graphic capability if they are not available within your company. You would simply provide us with your text and instructions and the editing and changes will be made by MDW staff for you.

List Server accounts

A list server is a remailer service. Simply put, this account allows you to have a list of e-mail recipients that will all receive an e-mail sent to the one address. There are no automatic replies from this service, though if a response is required, you have but to include a contact data within any message you send. This list can be maintained by us for you, or provided as a completely password protected, secure site.

This account will allow you to set up one or several "groups" that will receive identical e-mailings. You might set up a group for customers to e-mail announcements to, or for your sales department to provide up to date pricing or other data. These groups will consist of whatever e-mail address you decide. The you can e-mail to a specific group address such as "marketing@mdwmail.com", and all recipients receive it at the same time.

You may have data that you want to share with most of a group with a few exclusions, and other data to share with the whole group. To accomplish this, you would set up two lists, one for the group that sends to all recipients, and another that will send only to those chosen, and not to the exclusions you may desire to restrict the data from.

Data Backup facilities

Your valuable data needs backup! It should NEVER be allowed to go without backup any longer than you can afford to be without it! The backup interval should be decided literally, by how much data you can afford to lose. Some companies back up hourly, because the lose of that much data may mean their ruin if lost. Others may only backup their data monthly or quarterly because it could be reconstructed from hard copy. The best backup is that which IS NOT ON YOU COMPANY SITE OR LOCATION! If a disaster happens other than a simple hard drive crash, will your data backup, on tape, CD or disk, be lost with the original because they are physically stored together? If that could happen, then backup is only partially effective against hardware failure, not against any catastrophic event.

Our secure servers can provide a password protected, secure storage area for your backup storage. You can transfer raw data, compressed data or even encrypted data to our storage facilitates servers, with the confidence that they are also backed up constantly, to further protect your investment. Again,we can also provide specific, remote, secure, and dedicated servers that hold only your data. These as the other virtual servers are, are completely password protected from any outside access. Only your personnel you have granted access and a proper password to may access the data.
